Had potential, ended up being choppy, and poorly edited. I'm having a hard time finishing this book because of the inconsistencies from one page to the next. Both H/h come across as weak, and I'm at 70% of being done, and I still don't feel vested in this story. I've never written a review before finishing, but I really don't think I can.Product details

I liked the book but there were a few timeline issues for me as well as at one point he referenced her as his wife but they hadn't married. I felt that the book was entertaining but could have used a little more character and story line development. The description of the book built me up to be expecting a certain story line but in reality it kind of developed in a different way. I received an advanced copy of this book for my review.
I really enjoyed this book! Super hot biker and sassy good girl! Full of twist and turns and plenty of bad and CRAZY guys! I did read ARC so I expect some grammatical errors but there were some pretty big errors. At one time he refers to Della as his wife then it goes back to girlfriend. Then baby was a girl, then boy, then back to girl. Overall good book and I'm sure final cut was corrected.

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. I had a very hard time finishing this book, but I am glad I pushed myself through. Prescott is a dark, tattooed, brooding biker. Della is a sweet, feisty college student.Prescott's father is murdered and Della is the only witness. The chemistry between them is there, but the story was choppy, and I had a hard time keeping my focus. It wasn't until the final few chapter that the author got into a groove and I was routing for Della and Prescott and their HEA.
Prescott thought his biggest worry was club girls, and shrugging off responsibities of taking over his dads shoes as President of Hell's Reavers MC club, until the unthinkable happens.
Della months away from receiving her MBA, has spent her years focusing on school, and declining all forward advances by the opposite sex, until one day Prescott steps in and comes to her rescue...
Can Prescott prove theres more to him than just a bad ass biker, and will Della give him a chance to show her he can protect her even after he's brought her into his world knowing very well it put her life in danger?
The book was an enjoyable read. The character I enjoyed the most was Della. Although she was quiet, she had lots of spunk and knew what she wanted. She was not easily swayed once she made up her mind. Prescott was confusing. At times he seemed an alpha male and at others a follower. He was just all over the place for my liking. I felt that the word gawking was used to much and was used incorrectly. ("Prescott stood up, gawking at the men sitting across from him.") He then revealed the killer. Why would he look at them stupidly if he was the one that summoned them and gave them shocking news, it should of been the other way around. I guess I'm just being picky, it's the teacher talking. LOL Simon was an interesting twist in the story and in my opinion his involvement kind of gave the book a little boost. Overall the book was enjoyable.
This book book had so much potential but failed to meet the mark.
With the usual description of the female lead this book seem to be falls into the same heroin description syndrom. The Female lead Della is brunette, sarcastic smartass, curvy, nice butt, full lips lacking in confidence. But meeting a random guy and there is "electricity" between them. Prescott who is suppose to be this macho biker guy comes of more a preppy guy trying to toughen up his image. The Character a dull and not very interesting.
The are lots of time gaps, for instance they consider each other just sleeping together, to wife, to girlfriend, back to engaged. There are multiple scene that happen then re happen. The editing is down right horrible, because properly edited this would have been notice.
Be prepared for un answered questions about character as well.
Basically the best way to this describe this book is bad lifetime movie plot that landed on HBO so they could show some frontal boob in sex scenes.
I couldn't finish this book. Neither Della or Prescott (who was incorrectly named Preston at one point) had any character development. The characters and the story just skimmed the surface and never gave me a reason to get engaged.
